Chicken vaccines against Avian Metapneumovirus

Both live attenuated and inactivated adjuvant vaccines are used in the control of aMPV. The vaccination program used is dependent on the local situation. Live vaccines control infections in broilers. Breeders and layers require priming with live vaccines and then vaccination with an inactivated vaccine.
